Fiestas del pan, del caafé y festival folclórico
Aratoca, Santander.- Una jornada festiva con lo mejor del talento
humano, el folclor, la economía y la diversión se realizará en Aratoca,
Santander, del 17 del 20 de Agosto,
aprovechando el puente festivo.
La programación comenzará el viernes 17 con
una alborada musical y una ceremonia religiosa, para dar apertura a las 11 de
la mañana a una muestra microempresarial
y la presentación de la mogolla más grande del mundo. Dentro de esta actividad habrá una variada gama de artesanías en fique,
exposición que estará en el Parque principal.
El domingo
habrá exposición caprina a las 7
de la mañana; a las 10 una cabalgata infantil y en simultánea un desfile de
comparsas y carrozas en el parque principal, con premiación.

El comité organizador presidido por el
alcalde Willer Fabián Beltrán R, se reunió con los periodistas de Bucaramanga
para dar a conocer lo más importante de la jornada festiva, al tiempo que cursó
invitación especial a las comunidades de los municipios aledaños para que
participen de la programación.
Por su
parte Miguel Ángel Beltrán, ex concejal y
exalcalde de la población (hoy asesor de la Feria) destacó la organización del certamen y el
empeño que todos los funcionarios de la administración han puesto para que las
festividades se cumplan a cabalidad.

En las horas de la tarde, a las 2 pm, comenzá
el festival de danzas igualmente en el parque principal y a las 4 de
la tarde un acto protocolario privado para la presentación de las candidatas al
reinado, en el Colegio San Luís.
Habrá un concurso de cuentos y de
pintura infantil en la biblioteca, Sol
naciente. Sigue a las 6 de la tarde una fiesta juvenil con artistas
invitados y la animación de la orquesta del ejército.
El sábado luego de la programación de rigor,
a las 8 de la mañana habrá una competencia ciclística desde Panachi hasta el Parque principal de
Aratoca.
Así mismo continuará a las 8 de la mañana la
muestra Microempresarial.
A las 9 de la mañana un partido de fútbol en
el Estadio municipal y a las 10 recibimiento de las colonias en el sector de
Chiflas. Simultaneamente habrá un desfile de motocicletas y Card Auddio en
Chiflas.
A las 11 de la mañana del mismo sábado habrá cabalgata que llegará al Parque principal.
En las horas de la tarde se presentarán
artistas aratoqueños en el lugar de la zona de rumba, a las 5 de la tarde
encuentro gallístico y a las 6 de la tarde comenzarán las verbenas populares
ccon artistas invitados como la banda norteña, terranova y Adí Agudelo, artista
vallenato.

A la misma hora se cumplirá la presentación de
candidatas al reinado en traje típico en
el Parque principal.
A las 6 de la tarde continuarán las verbenas
populares y a las 10 de la noche una gran quema de pólvora.
El lunes y último día a las 8 de la mañana se
abrirá un concurso como celebración del
día de campesino para destacar el área del fique sobre el mejor tejedor, hilanderas y la penca
de fique más grande, actividad prevista en el Parque principal.
Se cumplirá también la premiación del
concurso de pintura y cuento.
Se realizará a las 8,30 am,
una competencia atlética como homenaje a la población por los 262 años.
A las 9 de la mañana concurso municipal y regional de música carranguera.
A las 4 de la tarde será el desfile, elección
y coronación de la reina.
Y a las 6 de la tarde continuarán las
